Milk cartons get a second life with us, as storage for the shampoobars. These are already water resistant due the coating inside, so these can have another live in the shower.

Hoe bijzonder is het als je uit de privé collectie van je eigen ouders, een prachtig gebonden medisch handboek tevoorschijn tovert. Het originele ‘Cruydtboeck’ (kruidboek) werd gepraktiseerd in de 17e eeuw door mijn voorvader in hun hoeve genaamd Dokters. Het 350 pagina’s tellende manuscript bevat een schat aan informatie over preventieve zorg en geneeskunde in de 16e en 17e eeuw. Het past in de traditie van het zeer bekende werk 'ANTIDOTARIUM NICOLAI' (Een leer welke in hoog aanzien stond en vele eeuwen heeft doorgewerkt). Blij verrast ontdekte ik in de basis op hetzelfde spoor te zitten en geheel onwetend pas ik een deel ervan toe bij het produceren van onze natuurlijke en handgemaakte verzorgingsproducten en shampoobars.
